I am writing to you on behalf of the Austrian Science
Fund (FWF) to enquire whether you would be so kind to review a research
proposal entitled ‘Numerical Modelling of Semiconvection (Stellar Physics)' which was submitted by Prof. Muthsam.
For your information, the FWF is Austria's central
body for the promotion of basic research, similar to the US National Science
Fund (NSF) or the Research Councils in Great Britain.
The abstract of the proposal is included in this
e-mail. Please let me know if you are able and willing to review this proposal by
May 1st. (if you are not able to provide the review by that date, I ask to
inform me about a possible date)
If you agree we will send the complete proposal to you
immediately by e-mail. (If you prefer hardcopies, please send me your detailed
postal address). Should you require any additional information to decide if you
can evaluate the proposal I will be happy to assist.
If you are not able to review the proposal yourself
within the given time frame or if you feel there is a conflict of interest, I
would ask you to suggest alternative competent reviewers, or a date by which
you can write the review yourself.
