Dear Michael and Tom,

Many thanks for writing up this tutorial re. Aladin, and congratulations to
Tom and all concerned for not only acquiring the TASS data but also for now
placing them in the hands of the Strasbourg folk. We have all come along
way from the early '80s when the the CDS provided microfiches of catalogs
such as the SAO and Mermilliod's UBV catalog and it took an age to extract
the useful information.

Michael's tutorial is a nice straightforward intro for using Aladin, Simbad
and Vizier recommended to all.

TASS has finally arrived! Splendid.

Richard Miles
