Subject: Update

I thought I should give you all an update. I started chemo yesterday.
Whatever they are giving me to mitigate the side effects is so far
making me feel great. I just wish I could give some of it to the
computers around here. This is being written on a Windoz machine so you
know the state of my network computers.

They just gave me a calendar with treatement scheduled out to about a
year and a half. I always point out to them that I like to see
schedules like that. If they plan to give me expensive treatements for
a year and a half then maybee they will see to it that I am here to buy
them. (My insurance Co. that is.)

tom1, tom2, and tom3 are all down. One side of each takes images, the
other has a problem. Sigh! If I stay feeling good I will get them
fixed. Meanwhile all my network computers have died. Well, one is
still working. A long time ago I bought a computer from Wall*Mart with
a form of linux installed. It is so far my longest running computer.
It was dirt cheap at the time. Jennifer hates Wall*Mart haveing worked
there for a number of years.

I have a small amount of data for August which I managed to save from
Matt before it completely died. But there are also back ups on the
control computers for each tom.

Several of you suggested Procrit. It turns out that I can't get Procrit
until my plate count falls below 11. It is presently 11.2. Possibly
the chemo will bring it down, but I would just as soon keep not
qualifying.
