Enough to notice it on this side of the pond ;-)

I am wondering, has congress created a new "Y2K" problem?

From what I've observed on this, probably yes as they have left it to almost the last minute, and some OS's have this information hardcoded, so they can't be changed without an update.

There's going to be a lot of machines which are an hour out for probably those two months due to not being updated in time.

Rob and others, I notice that my Mandrake display shows the correct time
- i.e it has adjusted for Daylight Saving time and shows correct local
time.  Rob, will everything go OK when we shift back to Standard Time?
What happens if we shift 2 months later?

I usually get around this problem by having all my machines running against UTC, and ignore the Daylight Saving time changes completely.

Clear sky for the next two nights and I am running.
