Re: Half Day Off

Hey Tom,

I use modified Julian times for file names and RA positional calculations. I
use gmtime for 'date-obs' and 'utstart' in the fits header.

The reason I use modified Julian date for the file names is so a single nights
run falls under the same 4 digit night, which I rely on to make processing
easier. I generally don't give a hoot what the file name is, as long as it's
unique and has a constant set of digits that differ for each night.

Not a problem, but a feature ;-)

Cheers,
Rob
