I disagree. My mailbox is at 0.6 gig and growing. Apple's Mail 
applications, with powerful search features, makes it like a database 
of communications. It is awesome. I keep all my sent mail and much of 
the mail I receive. There is virtually no reason to spend time cleaning 
up mailboxes and such because the disk space is plentiful.
