TASS in S&T
Tass is mentioned in a Sky and Telescope article about SuperWasp. Read it
at:

Tass Batavia takes more data. As usual, some out there are better at
"selling" their project than I am. This is because they have to keep
getting funding. It takes a lot less effort to run a project if you don't
care about getting funded. So work hard, save your money, then some day
you can do what you damn well please as I do.
Looks like they are not running filtered. I see they get 50,000 stars a
frame. We get as many as 30,000, but then after the requirement of
simultaneous VI, we rarely get more than 10,000. There is roughly a 5/1
loss between individual detections and simultaneous detections. So if we
get 5000 measuements total in the V and I camera, we net out at 1000 or so.
The I camera always sees more stars so it is something like 3500 I
detections, 1500 V detections, and 1000 matches.
