TOM1 Stars

I have been working on the TOM1 data. A pass through the finder program
got 1100+ stars that are probably variable. As a test, I looked up 10 in
sequence.

3 In GCVS catalog
2 IRAS stars - variable by definition?
1 Very obvious variable
4 Possible variables. (Need more data)

This is probably a good enough cut that it is profitable to look at the
stars. I plan to download the GCVS and screen the "probably variable" list
for known variables. My plan is to publish two lists. The GCVS stars
found in a particular cut and the possible variables. It will be fun to
see what percentage of known variables will be found in a particular search
area.

I am rerunning the program now with a slightly tighter cut. I am also
looking at WS down to 2. Very few stars come out with WS < 10. Some are
obviously variable down to WS of 5 or so. It will be interesting later to
look at known variables that were not found and try to figure out a better
cut.

I have TOM1 data spanning over a year. I took a reverse WS cut and looked
as some "constant" stars. I did not find any surprises. If there is long
term drift, it is going to take more than looking at a few plots to find
it.
