Finishing up August

I just counted up the August data. I have 14,870,000 measurement pairs.
There is supposed to be a clear spot early this evening so I will probably
try to get enough data to push over 15 million for August. A record for
sure. More importantly, the sky seems clear where there are no clouds.
This usually gets the best data.

The data is getting better and better. I keep fixing things that are a
little bad. An example, we discovered that the Dec. drive pulley could
slip a little causing the stars to be little vertical streaks. We glued
the pulleys on the shafts, and this problem seems to have gone away. The
stars are getting rounder and rounder. I suspect one of the lenses (TOM2?)
has a slightly cocked lens. I will try replacing the lens to see if that
helps. Other than that, the data is as good as I can hope for.
