Michael and all interested,

Assume I am saving the corrected .fits file.  Now in the future I want to 
rerun the pipeline using an improved photometry catalog.  Can it be 
done?  I know the answer is yes, but I am checking on whether it is easy.

OK, here is what I would try.

1) Copy the corrected .fits files that I have saved into the output file.
2) Copy the saved copy of make_list.out into the output file.
3) Run the pipeline omitting the make_list, make_dark, make_flat  and 
ccdproc steps.

The real question is whether the modified make_list file will work for the 
earlier steps after it has been modified by running the pipeline through to 
the end the first time.  If not, will it be a big job to make the necessary 
modification?
