The "Many Big Swings" star should be in Tycho, and will also be in the
next ASAS installment.
Longer period stars are overrepresented in your sample because (a) they
are *much* easier to find and identify; and (b) they tend to be Miras and
so are often missed due to their red color and short effective time
at maximum.
