Huhhh!  Who is so naive as to think that the variable star catalogs are 
either complete or accurate?

I started to write more on this but thought better of it.  I will just 
concentrate on taking data where we understand the accuracy and the 
completeness.  Then one can compute how many are missing from the catalog.
