Rob and all,

Will do.  Michael now automatically writes them out, so it is a no 
brainer.  I am still fussing with them a little.  I keep looking at what it 
accepts and what it rejects.  Mostly it does the right thing.  The present 
scheme now allows one to set fairly loose criteria as to what to keep.  If 
one wants to sort out only the very best data, one can do so by using the 
files that are saved with the data files.
