A quick comment or two on Andrews results:
- nice!
- I recently repeated my analysis of the DS24 fields in both
V and I, and my pattern of residuals in V-band
(using night sky flats) does resemble Andrew's
plot more than the one in my Tech Note 89.
- I also get the same strange "off-center" gradient he
sees in the I-band
