Michael, I am just a stickler on how magnitudes are described.
In your case, you should indicate that you used Tycho magnitudes
for your comp stars, and which kind of "V" is being used (Tycho Vt,
or Johnson V transformed from Tycho Bt/Vt). "Tycho magnitudes" is
not sufficient.  Do the (B-V) colors of the comp stars match
pretty closely the (B-V) color of the variable?
  For Doug West's colors of the variable, you should indicate
at what phase those colors refer and the procedure he followed
to obtain those colors.
