Another Day ...

Another couple of variable stars. It is 12:50 PM and I have just finished
processing last night's data. I have it down to pretty much routine.

Hmmm! I just figured the cost of finding a variable star. Assuming what I
will spend and how many stars I expect to find over a 10 year project. $50
each. This not including any labor. With labor it might be $100. I
wonder if they are worth it?

Of course this is more than a variable star hunting operation. Hopefully
we will end up with a valuable catalog. We shall see.
