I'm glad to hear that. I asked a professional astronomer about pro-am 
collaboration recently and he was like "well, little telescopes don't 
really matter much when we have big telescopes, now, do they?" I was 
hoping he was in the minority. Certainly there are many areas where 
amateurs can't contribute...
