     I can't really help to figure out what's going on
in these cases unless I have the images themselves to examine.
If you are looking at images from DS20, then let us know.

     I understand that it's very difficult to copy lots
of very large image files over the Internet.  Sigh.

     That's one of the reasons I made the "testbed" of Mark IV
images to accompany the pipeline.  If someone uses those images
to test the software, and finds a problem, he can say, "look
in image hira2011765.fits, near pixel (200, 300)."
