Michael Richmond "This is the heart that broke my finger."

I saw the movies "Tess" and "Cat People" when I was in high school and college, and was quite enamoured of Nastassia Kinski. I daydreamed that some day, the two of us would run away together :-)
A few years later, while playing bridge with some friends in college, it was my turn to sit out. I picked up a copy of "People" magazine and paged through it. There was a story about Nastassia, describing her marriage ("Augh!") and showing a picture of her holding her new infant ("Double Augh!"). Suddenly, I realized that my dream of a week with Nastassia would never come true.
I wanted to communicate this fact to my friends, so, holding up the magazine for them to see, I pointed to the photo and tried to say, "This is the picture that broke my heart." However, I was so distraught that I couldn't speak straight, and out of my mouth came the words: "This is the heart that broke my finger."
There was so much mirth, I decided to keep the quotation handy...
